Due to global warming and other destructions caused by human, the world is no longer a suitable place for us to live. However, some strong species are still able to survive. In order to survive, polar bears slowly evolves to black bears.These black bears still live in the Arctic. However, the weather in the Arctic has changed extremely. There isn't that frigid anymore, ice melt and sea level rised.
In the future, the landmass will changes totally. Arctic and Canada are linked together but the area won't be exactly the same as the area of the two places. Since the sea level rises, the sea water cover most of the land and only some highlands are over the sea level. And also the ice melt, the area of the Arctic will be smaller than it is. Therefore, the range of the black bears will be smaller than polar bears' and they will be moving northward.
As mentioned many times, the temperature will rise to 5 degree Celsius higher from now. The environment in the Arctic will be totally difference. There will still be a cold place for human but to the species that have been living there for a long time, it will be really hot to them. Since it will be 5 degree Celsius hotter, the ice in some areas that are not too frigid in the Arctic may melt and there won't be snowing anymore. Black bears may find it hard to live there at first, but over a long time they are able to survive in this enviornment.

As the name of this specie has already suggested, black bears are black in coulor. Unlike polar bears, they do not have thick white fur which consists of two layers. Due to global warming, the overall tempreature of the world rise. Therefore, black bears no longer have thick fur to keep them warm, they only have a dense underfur which just simply protect them from direct harm, for example, cut by sharp ice. As there is no thick fur covering their skin anymore, their black skin is shown and that is why they are named black bear. Besides, Black bears are only half size of polar bears. Since the weather in the Arctic is not that cold anymore, the thick layer of blubber which can be up to eleven cm and the thick fur are no longer needed. As the result, after a long time of evolution, black bears are around 1m- 2m long and weigh around 100kg- 200kg, which are half size of polar bears weight.

Black bears will be spending most of their lifetime under the sea since most of the land will be covered by water. Therefore, they will adapt the dark environment under to the water and change part of their body structures. Black bears' eyes will be very sensitive and they are able to see objects within 200m under water, their skin will be smooth, which assists them to swim faster. Due to the fact that sea water blocks most of the sunlight that passes into the water, it can be very dark under the sea. Hence, black bears have the eyes of eagle which allows them to spot any creatures and anything within two hundred metre radius. Besides, apart from the webbed feet they have, black bears will also have smooth skin like dolphin. Their skin will be extremely smooth that can help reduce the fraction between water. As the result they can swim faster.

In Arctic, most of the ice will melt, black bears therefore do not have much places for activities. Moreover, due to the ice melt, the bears might need to swim for a much longer time before they can reach another ice pack to rest. Adapted to this situation, black bears are able to swim for a much longer time than polar bears do. They have more energy and they spend most of their time in the sea rather than on land. Besides, since the food source of polar bears, Sealare extincted due to the destruction human has made, the black bears food source has changed to species living in the water, (Example), which are able to survive under this environment and also vegetations that grow in this cool climate.

In the other hand, black bears may create offsprings with other species, consequently new species will be created due to the fact that black bears will live and mate in various environment throughout their entire lifetime.

As there are chains between animals which link them together showing that they need to depend on each other in order to surive, are broken because some weak species are unable to live in this situation, many of them extincted. For example, their closest member in the chain, Seals extinct, the black bears lost their main food source and they can hardly find their food. Therefore, their bodies are working like camels' that they can store the food inside their bodies and do not need to eat for a long time.
